Additionally, the Computer Engineer has the opportunity to lead a team of interns, chosen by you through an application process, that develop applications that are tailored for the needs of KSDT staff and its community members. Projects and their direction are at your discretion, but the aim of this position is to improve the member experience and the quality of applications at KSDT. This may include running classes on web development, linux maintenance, and backend development.

You will stand out in your application if you are:

- Motivated and dedicated to supporting your community.

  - Knowing electrical engineering concepts, including knowing how to solder XLR and 1/4" connectors onto balanced or unbalanced audio cable, using a multimeter, and designing circuits.

This role requires 5-10 hours of commitment per week. Mandatory hours are spent attending staff meetings, leading intern meetings, hosting office hours, and repairing station equipment.

This role is a year-long, paid stipend position.
